As a coach you must ensure that all of your players are aware of exactly where their teammates and defenders are on the pitch, this way they can all try to hit the ball as hard as possible into the area that they think will score them a goal. The best thing to do is have a numerical system whereby you tell your players that position each of your defenders and team members are. It is therefore a great way to teach players valuable football skills and techniques such as positioning and control of the ball in order to score goals.
